"Nightingale" in chartreuse and black

Just stumbled upon the Etsy shop of artists Ernesto and Cassandra Velasco, based in San Fransisco.   I just love the red, white and black palette of the Murky Water series. These are prints of original pieces painted on wood panel with cel-vinyl paint. You can visit Etsy shop HERE.

colour of the day: lavender

I've just printed a fresh new edition of "Nightingale" in soft lavender and black. Edition of 55 prints, each signed, numbered and dated. Hope you like this colour? I was in the mood for some softer colours and I've been thinking of using lavender for a while. Took me a while to mix the right balance of blue and purple, but quite happy with the result! The Nightingale print is also back in a second edition of chartreuse and black in the Mengsel Shop.

I've got a brand new print design. Yay! It is called "Hello" and is available in two colours: Cobalt & Crimson and Moss & Neon Pink. Hand pulled onto 220gsm paper in the studio by moi. Edition of 60 prints in each colour - all signed, dated and numbered.

These prints are such great gifts for any occasion. The art of the hand written note is something that's totally disappeared in our quick fix generation of e-mails, texting, facebook, twitter, IM, Blackberries and iPhones.
