"Tiny Towers" tote bag

Lately, I've been getting a lot of requests to print my designs on tote bags and here it is! This is the first of many to follow. I've started out with the "Tiny Towers" design. Silkscreen printed by hand on a Long Handle Large Cotton Bag measuring 38cm x 42cm. Handles measure 72cm end to end so hang at about 35cms from the shoulder. The Simple Eco Cotton bag is reusable, so perfect for your grocery shopping or trips to the library or post office.

Bomb Design

I just love these colourful mobiles from Bomb Design. Based in Berlin, Germany, the label was established in 2002 and boasts a kids collection and home collection. I found their shop on Supermarket, but Bomb Design website features a wider variety of products. The playful mobiles are made of perspex (3mm acrylic glass) and are beautifully detailed.

Introducing "Manor Garden" silkscreen print

The newest addition to the Mengsel original silkscreen print range: "Manor Garden" in forrest green. The design was hand drawn by me and shows a stately English manor with intricately geometric gardens located below, complete with lily pond at the bottom. I was inspired by Georgian gardens as well as the beautiful gardens at Hampton Court palace, which is located near my home in South West London.

Introducing: "Tiny Towers" prints NEW in the Mengsel shop

After printing away in the studio until the late hours of last night, my new art prints are ready and for sale in my SHOP. I think they came out rather pretty after figuring out which colour combinations would look best. In the end I settled for orange & fuschia and blue & lime green. The design was drawn by hand, scanned and reworked in photoshop to produce the photostencil, after which it was printed by hand using traditional screen printing methods. More information on my website www.mengsel.com as well. This is an edition of 30 of each colour. Hope you like them?
